When
I read the title of this novel, it such as a note for the girl, I don’t know exactly
what the note is. But I thought it would be interesting because it told about
love of course. And I like romantic novel. Then, I decided to buy this novel
and continue reading.
The main characters of this novel
are, Stephanie Boxwell Slentz (the beautiful woman who loved by men but only
love Richard) Richard (the lucky man who loved by Stephanie). But in this novel also there are some
characters, like Miriam (Stephanie’s best friend), Jack (the unlucky man who
loves Stephanie but his love didn’t get answer from Stephanie), Sissy
(Stephanie’s secretary).
The
character I like most in this novel is Miriam, Stephanie’s best friend. Because
she is really a good friend, she always wanted something good for Stephanie.
Told in this novel that when Stephanie confused to choose the men for being her
boy friend, Miriam suggested Richard because she known that Richard really loved
her although finally Miriam’s view about Richard is wrong.
The
moment I dislike in this novel is when Stephanie forced Richard to make love
with her. Actually Richard didn’t want to make love with her until they get
marry. But Stephanie always forced him. I thought that Stephanie’s attitude was
drop woman prestige. And I dislike this situation very much.
From
this novel I have learned that we don’t believe exactly with the man even
though he is kind, because sometime his attitude not reflected his heart. Like
in this novel when Stephanie already believed with Richard that he really loved
her, and he didn’t want to make love with her because he didn’t want to break
her virginity, the fact is appear. Finally, Stephanie known that Richard didn’t
want to make love with her because he was homosexual, and it broke Stephanie
heart and they canceled to get married.
