Actually I read
this book because one of my friends recommends me to read this novel. When I
saw the cover of the novel, there was a picture of man in black such as a businessman.
When I read the epilogue, it looks like a biography of someone name Donald. J.
Trump. And written there that for everyone who interested in money, business,
and the glittering pinnacles of success have to read this book. So, I decided
to read this book.
The
main characters of this novel is Donald J. Trump (a great man who success in
his life because his art in the deal). In this novel also there are some
characters, like Fred Trump (Donald’s father who has given many influences in
Donald’s life), Mary Trump (Donald’s mother), Ivana Trump (Donald’s wife and
great business woman), Kate and Emily (Donald’s children).
The most interesting
part of the story is when Donald tells about his father life. His father was a
focused and ambitious man. He loved working. And as early as he can remember that
his father said to him, “The most important thing in life is to love what
you’re doing, because that’s the only way you’ll ever be really good at it.”
The quote from Donald’s father is really meaningful, because if we do something
without love it will make us heavy to do it and the result is not maximal.
The very confuse part
when I read this novel is when Donald tells about his self. He is an assertive
and aggressive kid when he was in elementary school. Actually, he likes business
when he was child, because he always saw her father make a deal with someone.
But that make me confuse, why his father decided to send him to a military
school whereas he like business. Why don’t his father send him to business
school in order make him smart in business.
The part of the story
that I dislike most is when he was an adult. He told about his self and his
family. One day his brother Freedy likes to be a pilot and he loved fishing and
boating. But Donald said to his brother that actually he wasted his time to do
his hobby. And the useful time is just for business. And I dislike Donald’s
statement about it, because everybody has their own goal.
Actually, I have no
personal experiences that related to this story. Because it is a business world
and I haven’t enter to such world. But I think business world is hard, because
we have to risk our money. Such as in this story, Donald always risks his money
above $1 million although he ready with the worst accident.
Actually the end of the
story is similar with what I guessed. Finally Donald is a success man, he has much
real estate and he got what he wants. It is because he like business and he
love to do it. Then he got the result of his effort.
The larger issues that
raised by the story is about life of Donald Trump. How he can be a success and
rich man, how he can make deal with someone, and how he can solve the problems
that arise in his business.
My experience while I
read this novel is I feel nauseous, because the novel is smell. Therefore I
can’t read it more than one hour, I have to get a fresh air for about fifteen
minutes and that make me take a long time to read it.
