            The story told us about a missing baby. The story began when there was an accident in the lighthouse which made Nicholas grandfather died and Camille, the woman who loved him and he loved her very much, coma in the hospital

            One day, after Camille cured from illness, she came to Nicholas’s house and told him that her baby is missing. Firstly, Nicholas didn’t want to help her because he wanted to go from her life and because Camille will marry with Bridges, Nicholas’s friend. But when Camille told that was his baby too, Nicholas wanted to help Camille.

            In the process finding Camille’s baby, someone called Nicholas and told him that the baby is in his hand and he asked the magical lens from him and give him forty-eight hours to get it. So, Nicholas, Camille and Bridges started to find it. They follow all the sign that indicate the place of the lens until they known the place of the lens and got it. But suddenly, Bridges fight over the lens from Nicholas’s hand and get out the gun from his pocket.

            Finally, Bridges told the true story that he was wanted the lens from long time ago, but he never got it. Therefore, when he knew Camille’s baby was Nicholas’s baby too, he kidnapped the baby and asked Nicholas to get the lens for him. So, he asked Nicholas to choose the stone, because there were three stone in different color, to put it into the lens. And Nicholas gives him the wrong stone which made Nicholas died.

            And the last he put the true stone in the lens and suddenly the lens bright and lose, and after that Nicholas can see the future. Finally he got the baby and life happier with his woman, Camille, and his innocent baby.

            In this novel, I like Nicholas, because he is responsible man. And he ready to help his girlfriend everywhere and every time. But I didn’t like Bridges, because he is pretend to be kind person but in the fact he is a selfish person.

            I think this novel is good for the reader who like the mystery story, because in this novel many riddle which must be solved. But, if the reader didn’t like the mystery story, maybe it will be bore for him, because it’s too complicated.
